Cookie information
CampKit ships with only the session mechanism required to sign users in and protect authenticated actions.
Cookies used by CampKit
Session cookie — PHP normally identifies the current browser session using a cookie named PHPSESSID unless the server administrator has changed the PHP session name.
- Purpose: keep a user signed in, associate CSRF protection with the session and preserve short-lived application state.
- Category: strictly necessary application functionality.
- Duration: normally the browser session, although the exact expiry and server-side session retention are controlled by the PHP/hosting configuration.
CampKit v2.4.1 does not ship with advertising, analytics, tracking or personalisation cookies, so it does not display a consent banner solely for its essential session cookie.
Local browser storage
This release does not use localStorage or sessionStorage to track users or persist packing data. Trip and packing information is stored in the configured MySQL database.
If the installation changes
If an operator later adds analytics, embedded media, advertising, chat widgets or another service that sets non-essential cookies or similar browser storage, this page and the consent mechanism should be reviewed before that service is enabled.
